The unique value proposition of the EDS is the ability to quickly go through a design brief, through an automatically generated work schedule, to the preliminary configuration of the vehicle based on data entered by the potential client. There is no tool available that would allow obtaining a preliminary outline of the vehicle design in less than 10 minutes, allowing for an approximate assessment of costs and project duration, additionally presenting an interactive 3D representation of the overall vehicle architecture.

The new EDS service is primarily a marketing and sales tool showcasing the unique character and abilities of the EXEON Studio. An interactive web tool allows for quick business communications, offering concrete value to potential clients interested in developing new electric vehicles from the first contact, even before a contract is signed. Providing value before formal cooperation and presenting EXEON as an innovator and expert, builds the necessary trust to attract world class clients.

The EDS service, is a response to the identified megatrend called “PURPOSE BUILT MOBILITY”,

- understood as necessity-focused, or purpose-driven, mobility. We are on the cusp of a paradigm shift in transport design, particularly within micro-mobility - creating products designed and engineered to meet a specific, identified need. This shift requires an acceleration in product development to keep pace with the rapidly evolving and increasingly unique user needs, paving the way for new vehicle types and categories. Our journey with EDS began by setting a strategic vision for enhancing the design process across transportation projects. Recognizing the evolving needs of our clients and the industry's push towards efficiency, we envisioned a service that could dramatically cut down project planning times and elevate the quality of outcomes.

[2.0] User Research & Insights


We engaged in thorough user research to understand the pain points and aspirations of our clients. This involved analyzing their experiences with conventional design processes, identifying areas where inefficiencies or frustrations arose. Insights gathered from this research highlighted the demand for faster project initiation, clearer communication of design intentions, and more predictable outcomes, shaping the core functionalities that EDS would address.

[3.0] Service Design & Prototyping


The service design phase for EDS focused on creating a user-centric platform that embodied our insights and strategic vision. We developed prototypes of the EDS platform, simulating its ability to transform briefs into actionable design plans. These prototypes were essential for visualizing the service's potential, allowing us to refine its features and user interface based on preliminary feedback.

Critical to EDS's success was the development and integration of basic algorithms capable of understanding complex project briefs and translating them into detailed design strategies. Designing an intuitive user interface for EDS was paramount. We aimed to ensure that clients could easily navigate the platform, input their project requirements, and understand the generated outcomes. The interface design emphasized clarity, simplicity, and ease of use, making sophisticated AI technology accessible to all users without compromising on depth or flexibility.

EDS was evaluated by select clients in real-world scenarios. This feedback loop was invaluable, highlighting areas where the service excelled and identifying opportunities for improvement. Client insights drove iterative refinements, enhancing EDS's usability, performance, and overall value proposition.

[7.0] Vehicle Library Development


One of the significant challenges was developing an initial library of CAD modules managed by the 3D generator. Additionally, each of the preliminarily proposed models selected from the library can be further modified by the client in an interactive sidebar, allowing for changes in parameters such as wheels, passenger capacity, cargo space size, and type of bodywork.

With testing complete, EDS moved into implementation, introduced to a broader client base while maintaining a commitment to continuous improvement.

[9.0] Main Modules

Basic structure of the tool consists of 3 main modules.


To configure your project, go through 3 modules in the right order. Brief module contains four sections with questions, that will help generate a project schedule and CAD configuration, based on your answers. Schedule module will help you understand our process, project structure and it's timeline. You will learn about all the necessary stages and milestones to finalize your project. In 3D CAD module, you will be able to choose the 3 D geometry fitting to your expectation and manipulate it so it fits your needs.

Completion of this whole process generates a PDF summary for the client to download, with a copy sent to the EXEON sales team. Upon inquiry and client verification, the EXEON sales team provides a dedicated link to the EDS web tool, where clients can create a profile and navigate through the tool's modules until they achieve a 3D configuration of the intended vehicle.
